Thank you for attending the 6th edition of the ISFRN workshop, “In-situ Sea Surface Temperature to Support Climate Data Records.”
This was held online on Thursday 19 March 2026, 1pm-4.30pm and Friday 20 March 2026, 9am-12.30pm (GMT).
This workshop highlighted recent achievements and advancements in the validation of satellite-derived Sea Surface Temperature (SST) data using in-situ instruments. Through a series of presentations from across our community, we explored innovative approaches, shared insights, and fostered collaboration in this important area of research. Agenda can be seen below.
We were delighted to bring together professionals working across Sea Surface Temperature science—particularly those involved in satellite validation and the use of in-situ radiometer measurements. The strong level of engagement was reflected in over 90 participants registered from countries worldwide.
